"I’ve known and worked with Helen for the best part of the last 20 years. She is a compassionate, strong and strategic HR leader. She is forward thinking, curious and passionate about what she does. Her leadership and drive in increasing the focus on colleague wellbeing from the top of our organisation downward has been pivotal in my view to the strides RBS has made in that area. As a colleague herself, she is kind, supportive, strong in collaboration and fun to work with. Helen will make a positive contribution to any organisation she works with" Pete Philp Head of Reward and Employment Policy, Governance & Regulation at RBS

"Helen has a talent for imagining the future ( from policies to wellbeing interventions) and championing the change even before we’ve realised a change is required. She quickly grasped Workday and our Digital HR Transformation and acted as our lead for policy and colleague proposition changes required to help support the Digital Transformation. She is a team player who cares about colleagues and business outcomes rather than personal gain / recognition. Resilient when faced with obstacles and not afraid to stick her head above the parapet to lead on an issue. Fun and easy to work with - Helen is a colleague I was always happy to do business with Janey Smith Head of HR Transformation at Royal Bank of Scotland

"Helen is a passionate, knowledgeable and vibrant speaker who can deliver talks on a number of areas related to management and wellbeing. I am the MX coordinator at the University of St Andrews School of Management, and I am responsible for arranging guest speakers for postgraduate students each year. Helen first gave a talk earlier this year and the students loved her talk, personality and expertise. I did not hesitate to invite Helen back again as she has been one of our best speakers on the programme. Our students see Helen as a guru on the topic of wellbeing and she takes her time to answer any questions. I strongly recommend Helen to any company that truly values their employees."Mahmoud Khalik Lecturer and Consultant,St Andrews University
